    AND NOW Gilbert song

A Friday spring 1961, Gilbert Bécaud leaves on the coast of azure, at his side, in the plane, the German actress, Elga Andersen. She is radiant, she joined her fiancé. Monday morning, return to Paris, Gilbert Bécaud travel again with the beautiful Elga, but this time, she is crying. His friend is leaving, he tries to cheer up her. This meeting caused random is originally from one of the greatest hits of French song. Gaya, the son of Gilbert Bécaud, says : "Gilbert, knowing how to only make,"I will bring back you to Paris", and he takes his car. On the way back, she says "and now, what I am going to do?" and not knowing what to say, Gilbert told him "look, it will arrange, you're cute, Don't worry. And he had rendez vous at this time, in the same afternoon, with Pierre Delanoë, to work on other songs. He arrives and says, "look, there is a girl who just say to me a sentence, it may perhaps make a good start, it's "and now, what I am going to do ? "And well, they barely two hours to write the song. And now is adapted in English, Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley sing "What now

    my love".

And now that I am going to make
Of all this time when will be my life
Of all these people who indiffèrent me
    Now that you left

All these nights, why for who
And this morning which returns for nothing
This heart which beats, for who, why
Which beats too hardly, too strong

And now that I am going to make
Towards which nothingness will slide my life
You left me the whole earth
But the earth without you it is small

    You, my friends, be kind
You know well that we can nothing there
Even if Paris is eaten up with boredom
    All its streets kill me

And now that I am going to make
I am going to laugh at it not to cry any more
I am going to burn whole nights
In the morning I shall hate you

And then an evening in my mirror
I shall see well the end of the road
    No flower and no tears
At the time of the goodbye

I really have to make nothing more
    I really have nothing more...

Nº1 en España en el año 1962. "Peticiones del oyente"
